Why Does Every App Hide the Good Stuff on Desktop?
One of my running gripes, surfaced while wrestling eBay's CSV uploads: the feature gap between a company's website and its app. eBay's desktop site gives you far more information, control, and capability than the app or mobile site, and eBay is far from the only offender. Half the time you ask a mobile browser for the "desktop site," it just... doesn't honor the request. I don't know if that's Safari and Chrome quietly ignoring me or companies being too clever for their own good, but as someone who needs the powerful version of the tool to get real work done, it's a genuine daily annoyance. Give me the whole dashboard on whatever screen I'm holding.
